CONFIRMATION CLASSES are offered each year for our eighth graders from January through May with Confirmation Sunday on the first Sunday in June.  Classes are usually every Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. 
We use the "Journeys of Faith" published by the Presbyterian Church, USA for the basis of our classroom work.  Additionally, activities are scheduled to enable the confirmands to experience Christ in the world, to witness our church policy, and to serve others in our community.  The current schedule can be accessed by clicking on the following link:  Confirmation Schedule

WELCOME TO SUNDAY MORNING!

There is no better place to be on Sunday than in God’s house, learning about the Good News and how God loves us all.  We have a long tradition of outstanding Christian Education for all ages.  We have classes for every age group.  We have lots of fellowship. 

We begin each Sunday’s activities at 9:45 a.m..  Mark your calendars for Rally Sunday, September 10, 2006 and join us.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAM

The preschool and elementary divisions of our Sunday School program include classes from Nursery Care to 5th grade.  The Youth Program is for middle schoolers and high schoolers.  Confirmation is offered for eighth graders with classes beginning in January and ending in May.

ADULT EDUCATION

We have a strong adult program with many different classes to choose from.  All classes decide on their own lesson series, so there is a wide variety to choose form.

  Sojourners—This class is for families and singles who enjoy discussion, and practical applications of Scripture to their lives.

Singles and Doubles—Single and single-again people and couples who enjoy lively and spirited inquiry into the meaning of selected Bible passages compose this group, which seeks to make application of Scripture to contemporary issues.

Mary Haw/Maria Wyatt Bible Class—One of the longest enduring classes in our church, this woman’s Bible study class has a long and rich history of faithful, dedicated service and study.

Men’s Bible Class—Another long-time class that uses the lecture method of Bible study.  This group of men has done outstanding services to the church for decades.

Zany Zealots –  This class offers a home for the young adults of our church family.  This class will plan fellowship events, and encourage community—the one thing the church does best of all.  All young adults, married or single, are urged to enjoy this class.

Westminster Bible Class— An all-women, all ages class, this gathering studies selected Bible passages in light of contemporary questions and issues.

FELLOWSHIP

As part of the growing experience of church life together, there will be numerous fellowship events, from Christmas celebrations with the children to caroling to speakers  coming and sharing with us, especially during the Lenten season.  We have Wednesday night suppers each week that are purely for the enjoyment of each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. 

Youth Fellowship

Youth Fellowship is offered every Sunday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 for grades 6 - 12.  The evening begins with dinner and is followed by Bible study, a mission project, or a social activity.  Camps and weekend conferences are also periodically attended.
